Definition
Text which can be referred to from the program using its text symbol. This text is translated into all logon languages and is displayed in the appropriate language at runtime.
In change mode, all spaces to the right of the first non-blank character are replaced with "_" (underscore). This enables you to see the implicit length of a text string.
You can increase this length by appending more underscores, although when you save the text, the underscore character itself is replaced with spaces.
Consequently, the underscore character itself cannot be used in an internal text.
In display mode, the internal texts are displayed as they have been saved - in other words, without underscores!

Use
A valuation rule in the "infotype" category can be defined in two different ways:
- Valuation rule acc.to infotype existence. The system only checks for existence of the infotype. If the infotype exists, time intervals are created according to the validity periods of the respective infotype records. Specified valuation factors such as threshold value, weight, etc., are applied to these intervals.
- Valuation rule acc.to infotype selection condition The system checks the criteria specified in the infotype selection condition in addition to the actual existence of the infotype.
Procedure
Mark this radio button for 'Valuation rule acc.to infotype existence'.
