Definition
The internal company area describes a virtual area of the service territory, which in turn is determined by the criteria "Division" and "Regional structure group". As a result, the internal company area can be used to achieve a division-specific differentiation of regional structure groups.
When creating the periodic replacement list, the internal company area can be used as a criterion for expanding an existing periodic replacement list.
When creating work orders or notifications for devices from the periodic replacement list, the internal company area can be used as a selection parameter for selecting in the periodic replacement list.
Technically, the internal company area is modeled through organizational units from the HR-PD-ORG area.
If you want to use the internal company area, please proceed as follows:
- Define your internal company areas as organizational units. Each internal company area should stand for only one regional structure group and one division.
- Create areas of responsibility for standard role 20500026 ISU_REGIO_DM. Each arae of responsibility represents exactly one regional structure group and one division.
- Maintain the employee assignment for these areas of responsibility. In the process, each area of responsibility must be assigned the corresponding organizational unit that represents the respective internal company area. It is important that only one organizational unit is assigned to each area.
