Definition

In this field you can store the reversal reason for the copayment generation program.

Use

You can execute the copayment generation program with the option Reverse copayment requests. In this mode the system reverses all open copayment requests and creates a new copayment request for the copayment amount to be paid.

When a copayment request is reversed, the system uses the reversal reason you store in this field.
The reason is noted in the document that is reversed.

The reversal reason also determines:

• If the reverse document can have a different posting date
• If the reverse document can be comprised of negative postings

Dependencies

The reason for reversal must be defined beforehand in Financial Accounting.
