Definition

Treatment date with the first session that requires approval for determining the number of services billed.

Use

When billing approved services in recognized psychotherapy, you must specify the total number of approved services that have already been billed. The services are usually counted from the treatment date with the first session that requires approval.

In this field, you enter the date from which the number of approved services is to be determined.

Dependencies

If you use ACM to perform PPA billing, the PPA billing system AMASYS can determine the number of services actually billed from the start date you enter for the first session that requires approval.
If AMASYS was not used to bill all the patient's approved services, you must enter the number of approved services not billed with AMASYS in the Billed field. AMASYS forwards the total of the following components to the PPA:

  • Number of billed services from the Billed field
  • Number of billed services determined by AMASYS from the start date.
