Definition

Here you can enter (special) characters that are automatically removed from the search string for search fields used in the patient index search or the business partner search, for example. Ensure that the special characters are not 'separated' by spaces.

Warning

Changing the field contents can result in patients or business partners no longer being found with the search function.

Note

The special characters are only removed from the standardized string that is needed for the search function. The special characters are retained in the original string.
If special characters are to be automatically removed from the original string, you have to maintain these in the Institution-Specific Control Parameters table (TN00E).
