Definition

The account transaction figures are updated per fiscal month within the fiscal year. A maximum of 16 fiscal months can be updated. You determine for each company code the number of fiscal months that make up a fiscal year.

For instance, you can define 12 fiscal month (calendar months) or 13 fiscal months (every four weeks).

If you define less than 16 fiscal months, the remaining periods (in the above examples months 13 - 16 or 14 - 16) can be used as 'special periods'.

The fiscal month for accounting documents is derived from the posting date or can be entered directly if a special period is to be updated in place of the last period of a fiscal year.
