The date specified in this field can either refer to the dispatch or the receipt of a message, depending on the direction of the message.

1. This can thus be the date on which the respective EDI data record (message) was last formatted for dispatch to the data collection department or hospital. In this case, formatting generally means the creation of a file.
2. On the other hand, this can also be the date the message was imported to IS-H. In recovery mode, this field displays the date of the last import process.
