Definition

The document type enables a more precise classification of objects that are to be archived.

A link is created between document type and object type in Archive Customizing. An archive in which the documents to be archived are stored is assigned to this link.

The Archive Customizing link table must contain an active entry for the document type you specify in this field. In this connection, the object type of the work organizer type must be assigned to the document type. The document type for invoices and reverse documents is VBRK.
