Definition

Non-quantity-based procedure (in other words, without quantity and unit of measure) that results from one or more single PC(s) (PC = procedure code).

Use

The summary PC is an official PC from the specified procedure catalog.

If you total the single quantities from several identical single PCs, you can determine the related official summary PC using this total.

Use

Here you enter an official procedure ("summary PC") for totaling the related customer-specific, quantity-based procedures ("single-quantity PC").

The system calculates the quantity of a single-quantity PC from the material consumption and the catalog unit of measure (UM column).

For each summary PC, enter the related single-quantity PC (Single PC column) and the material (Material Number column), and in the UM column, the catalog unit of measure that comes from the name of the official procedures.

For each combination of single-quantity PC, summary PC, and material, enter the minimum quantity in the catalog unit of measure (Qty From column), as of which the level for a higher summary PC is reached.
