The external partner number is a unique key used to identify a business partner in an external system.

Use
This is the contract partner number assigned by the Main Association of Austrian Social Insurance Carriers. You have to specify this number for physicians and hospitals.
Dependencies
The contract partner number is used for reporting outpatient clinic fees.
This number is also available as an input help for the referring physician or hospital.

Use
This number is the EAN nummber that is assigned for insurance providers, external hospitals and physicians. The number is used to identify the invoice recipient (insurance providers, hospitals) or the referring person, and is used in electronic data exchange relating to invoices (MediData).
Dependencies

- Insurance provider master: Europ.art.Nr.
- Physicians: EAN-Nr. (Nif number)
