Definition
This field contains the postal code. The system checks the postal code format in accordance with the default settings made in the county table (Tools -> Business Engineering -> Customizing -> Implement. Projects -> SAP Reference IMG -> Global settings -> Setting countries -> Set country-specific checks).

If you enter * in this field, it means that you do not want to carry out a plausibility check of the postal code - city combination for the country entered for this postal code. The catalog for this country must be complete in your system.
