Definition

You can define occupancy characteristics for each case at movement level, and so obtain a classification.

For example, you can classify patients by medical specialty, or by sector as in Quebec.

You define occupancy characteristics in the IMG activity CA: Define Occupancy Characteristics. You access the maintenance of planned beds per occupancy characteristic from the SAP Easy Access screen by choosing Hospital -> Basic Data Administration -> Hospital Structure -> Organizational Structure -> Statistical Occupancy Characteristic -> Maintain.
