Definition

Organizational unit which performs the service.

Via the assignment of the organizational unit to a cost center, an activity of the cost center is posted to the corresponding service type with the quantity determined according to the account assignment rule.

Procedure

If you want to maintain a special rule for one organizational unit, please enter this.

If you want to maintain a general rule for all organizational units, you can use a masked entry. In this case, please enter * in the field.

Examples

You want to maintain a rule which is to be valid for all organizational units except the organizational unit LABOR.

You need two rules in this case:

  • One for the organizational unit LABOR
  • A further one which is masked for all other organizational units

Dependencies

Please note that some checks can only be carried out for specialized entries.

The following access sequence applies to the evaluation of the rule table:

  • First access with both organizational units fully qualified
  • Second access with masked performing organizational unit
  • Third access with masked requesting departmental organizational unit
  • Fourth access with both organizational units masked.

The system only reads until the first successful access.
