The object key is used to identify an object. Its interpretation depends on the object type:

Object type    Object key

C (change document object)    object class of change document object

N (number range)    name of number range object

L (long text)    key of the application object

T (table)    name of table

Further notes

You should make certain that the object key correlates with the appropriate object type. The system does not check, for example, whether the object key for object type T (table) relates to a table that actually exists.

Incorrect entries can result in a runtime error of program RNUMDT0.
