Definition
Normally, the assignment of a flat rate per case is dependent on the age of a patient, that is, flat rates per case can be assigned only to patients who are at least 14 years old when they are admitted to hospital.
Yet, according to the 2nd and 3rd amendement to the Federal Regulation for Hospitals from 1995, the flat rate per case 7.01 can also be assigned to patients who are less than 14 years of age.
Therefore, please set this indicator for flat rates per case that are independent of the age of the patient.
