Definition

Maximum difference between request for payment and the payment made, up to which no new request is posted.

Example

If the request amounts to 100.00, for example, and if a payment of 90.00 is made, a new request is not posted if the maximum variance is less than or equal to 10.00. If the difference between the requested amount and the payment made is greater, you will be asked in a dialog box whether you wish that a new request of the remaining amount is posted.
