Definition

Setting this indicator, you control that the billing program ignores a possible minimum length of stay for interim billing.

Example

For each insurance provider, you can determine that interim billing is to be carried out only after a specified minimum length of stay, for example, after a week. There are, however, circumstances in which the minimum stay should not be taken into account. This could, for instance, be the case for general interim billing at the end of the year.

If you want the system to include cases of an insurance provider which have been in hospital for less than the specified seven days, you should select this indicator. The system then ignores the prior setting for the insurance provider.
