Documentation
Definition
The system provides three input fields (each 80 characters long) for the ICPM assignment.
You have to specify the valid ICPM codes in accordance with a defined grammar.
Procedure
Please check that your entries comply with the following rules:
- Enumeration of individual ICPM codes: separated by ';'
- End your entry in an input line with an ICPM code and a blank, even if the entry continues in the second input field.
- Combination of individual ICPM codes: '*'
- Enumeration for a single position: [ ]
- Division of enumeration for each position: ','
- Characters allowed for the first position of the ICPM are 1,5,8 and 9.
- Characters allowed for the second to the fourth position are 0,1,...9.
- Characters allowed for the fifth and sixth positions are 0,1,...9,X,Y,A,B.
- You have to enter a period after the fourth position in case a fifth position follows.
- You have to enter a '-' after the first digit of an ICPM code.
- You can enter an enumeration for the fifth and sixth positions when entering the ICPM codes.
- Example ICPM code with enumeration for 5th and 6th positions and combination:
5-374.[1,2]*5-375.[2,3][4,6] - Example ICPM code with enumeration for 6th position:
5-495.5[1,2,3]
- You can also specify the enumeration for the 5th and 6th positions together. In this case, you cannot make any further specifications for this ICPM code. Furthermore, you cannot make a common and split entry for the 5th and 6th positions in brackets.
- Example of ICPM code for 5th and 6th positions in brackets:
5-495.[11,13,14]
The following are examples of invalid specifications:
- 2-494 --> valid ICPM codes start with 1,5,8 and 9 only
- 5-594. --> incorrect syntax, digit expected after period
- 5-495.123 --> an ICPM code comprises up to 6 positions
- 5-49.0 --> '.' only allowed after 4th position
- 5-495.[12,13]9 --> total of 7 positions to be processed here
- 5-49X.0 --> 'X' not allowed in 4th position
- 5-494.[12,1,13] --> 5th and 6th position cannot be combined in brackets
- 5-493.[1,2,3]6 --> correct: 5-493.[1,2,3][6]
- 5-493; --> end input line with blank
