Definition
With this indicator you specify that the system always takes the hospital main diagnosis into account when proposing a charge.
Set this parameter if you want to ensure that the diagnosis check for the charge proposal (RNALL001) is always executed with the hospital main diagnosis.
- If a hospital main diagnosis is not defined for a case, the system does not search for flat rates per case.
- If a hospital main diagnosis is defined for a case, the system always takes this diagnosis into account when searching for flat rates per case. When a flat rat per case is calculated using a combination of diagnoses, one of these diagnoses must be the hospital main diagnosis. If a flat rate per case is determined using exactly one diagnosis, this diagnosis must be the hospital main diagnosis.
This indicator is relevant only for determining flat rates per case. For procedures surcharges, the system takes all diagnoses, irrespective of their type, into account.
