Here, you can specify the type of flat rate per case that the system uses when determining the flat rates per case and procedures surcharge as well as the maximum length of stay.

For the general flat rate per case, the maximum length of stay is calculated as of the admission date. There are, however, exceptions within the area of heart surgery and obstetrics. In this context, you also have to specify whether a birth was a multiple birth or a birth that involved a hospital stay of less than 24 hours. You can call the list of flat rate per case types by choosing Possible entries for this field. (Germany only)
