Definition
The 5th ammendment to the Federal Regulation for Hospitals 1995 (Germany) has resulted in certain flat rate groups being split into flat rates for acute treatment and post-operative treatment.
The flat rate for post-operative treatment can only be billed for if the relevant flat rate for acute treatment was performed beforehand.
