Definition
By setting this parameter, you specify that you do not want to be able to classify diagnoses as the hospital main diagnoses in the diagnosis documentation.
Consequently, the Hospital main diagnosis indicator does not appear in the data screens of diagnosis editing and is not available for evaluations.
The following diagnosis classes are managed in the IS-H System:
- Admission diagnoses
- Discharge diagnoses/treatment certificate diagnoses
- Surgery diagnoses
- Cause of death
- Department main diagnoses
- Hospital main diagnoses
The hospital main diagnosis is the diagnosis which is the reason for outpatient or inpatient treatments during a hospital stay.
