Here you can code for what purpose a medical record is to be lent.

By means of the borrowing reason, you can specify the following for borrowing in Medical Record Management:

• Which reference date is to be used for determining when a reminder is to be sent.
• Which borrowing duration is to be taken into account for determining when a reminder is to be sent.

If a borrowing period is stored in the borrowing authorization data of a borrower, it is used to determine when a reminder is to be sent.
