Supplementary Documentation - ISH_DVISR 0001

Use

The relevant rounding amount is used to specify the amount to which you want to round up or down.

Procedure

Examples

It is assumed that the new down payment amount is always to be rounded up to the next hundred.

Original Amount    Rounded Amount

35    100

102    200

108    200

To achieve this, you have to select Round up and enter the next Rounding Amount 100.

You may want to use commercial rounding (tenths up to and including 4 are rounded downward, starting with five they are rounded upward):

Original Amount    Rounded Amount

35    40

102    100

108    110

To achieve this, you have to select Commercial and enter the Rounding Amount 10.
Note that with commercial rounding, the accuracy of the rounding depends on the rounding amount. With a rounding amount of 10, as described above, an original amount of 108 is rounded up to 110, whereas an original amount of 100.5 is rounded down to 100. With a rounding amount of 100, an original amount of 150 is rounded up to 200, whereas an original amount of 105 is rounded down to 100.
