Use
The billing days are determined as in the Federal Regulations for Hospitals (Germany) §9, Section 2,3:
Billing days are at first only patient days. However, the admission day and the discharge day are each regarded as a day unless the case lasted for less than 24 hours, but was nevertheless in the hospital at midnight or was transferred to an enternal hospital after being in the hospital at midnight at least once.
