Definition
Using this indicator, you specify whether a service is relevant for service adjustment during patient absences. The services of a case for which this indicator has been set are taken into account by the adjustment program when the patient is absent.
Depending on the period of absence, services can be cancelled, limited and created again during the automatic adjustment procedure.
Example: Whereas telephone basic rates are not absence-relevant, nursing charges usually are.
Note: This indicator is relevant for extended services only.
