Definition

By means of this parameter, you control how the program generating copayment requests is to bill for leave of absence.

Input values

  • 0 : the leave of absence is ignored and copayment is charged for each day.
  • 1 : for full days of absence no copayment is charged, however the start and end day of absence are billed for.
  • 2 : for the start day of absence and for full days of absence no copayment is charged. The end day of absence is billed for.

The default setting is 2.

Example

A patient leaves the clinic temporarily at 10 a.m. on February 2 and returns at 9 a.m. on February 4.

If the parameter has the value 0, copayment is required for February 4 only.

If the parameter has the value 1, copayment is required for February 1 and 4.

If the parameter has the value 2, copayment is required for February 2 only.
