Definition

By means of this parameter, you control how the program that generates copayment requests is to handle cases lasting less than 24 hours.

Input values

  • Only 1 day counts as requiring copayment.
  • Two days count as requiring copayment (default setting).

Example

A patient is admitted into your healthcare facility at 10 a.m. on February 1, and discharged at 9 a.m. on February 2.

If the parameter has the value Only 1 day counts as requiring copayment, copayment is required for February 1 only.

If the parameter has the value Two days count as requiring copayment, copayment is required for February 1 and 2.
