Definition

The default name of an RFC connection.

Use

A background job can call functions via an RFC connection, which should have the following Settings.

  • Logon/Security
    • Security Options -> Trusted System -> Yes
      • See note 128447
      or
    • Logon -> Select current user or specify user name and password

This user must have the authorizations required in the target system.

It is safer to use a communications user, not a dialog user.

If you are not authorized, contact your system administrator.
