Documentation
Definition
If, when you close a subclass in account class 7, the report needs more line items than are available in the current document, it closes the document and starts a new one.
Before the system can close the first document, the total debit amount must equal the total credit amount. The system therefore determines the difference between the debits and the credits and creates a line item for this amount. It then offsets this entry in the interim account.
When the system opens the next document, it creates a line item to balance the entry made in the interim account. This reduces the balance of the interim account to zero and adds the cumulated value of the first document to the second in a single line item.
