You can use this replacement value in the rate category facts or in the rate facts.
Usage in the rate category facts
If you allocate this replacement value to an operand in the rate category facts, this operand is proposed for maintenance in all installations to which the rate and the rate category is allocated. You are then required to specify a value for this operand in the installation facts if no value is entered in the rate category facts.
Note that the rates are allocated to the installation indirectly via the allocation of the rate types. The rates to be used are found in rate determination.
Note
If you specify this replacement value for an operand in the rate facts and you specify a value for the same operand in the rate category facts, then the operand is not proposed for maintenance in the installation facts.
