Definition

If this indicator is set, orders are included during processing that are assigned to the lowest cost object nodes of the cost object hierarchy.

Use

Overhead Calculation

  • If you set this indicator, all the selected order categories are included in processing without any special check being made.
  • If you do not set this indicator, only the orders not assigned to the lowest cost object nodes of a cost object hierarchy are processed.

Distribution of a Cost Object Hierarchy

  • If you set the indicator, the actual costs are distributed to the lowest cost object nodes of a product cost collector or production orders that are assigned to a cost object hierarchy.
  • If the indicator is not set, the actual costs are distributed to the lowest cost object nodes of a cost object hierarchy. The system does not distribute any actual costs to product cost collectors or production orders that were assigned to the lowest cost object nodes.

Normally, you set this indicator to active when distributing actual costs in the cost object hierarchy.

Settlement

  • If you set the indicator, the debit/credit difference for all product cost collectors and production orders (that are assigned to the lowest cost object nodes in a cost object hierarchy) is settled.
  • If you did not set the indicator, the orders assigned to a cost object hierarchy are not settled.
