Definition
Native country
The native country of an employee results from the company code in infotype 1, his/her Organizational Assignment. This country also appears in the trip itinerary as the country in which a business trip begins and ends.
Domestic trip
If the 'domestic trip' indicator is selected, the 'trip country' must be the same as the native country when a travel expense report is recorded. If not, a change of trip schemas is necessary.
International trip
Vice versa, if the 'international trip' indicator is selected, the 'trip country' must be other than the native country for recording of a travel expense report. If the 'native country is entered as the 'trip country', a change of trip schema is also necessary.
It is only useful to give a trip schema the attribute domestic trip or international trip when there are basic differences in recording. For example, many companies only allow entry of trip advances in the case of international trips.
No distinction
If the entry of domestic and international trips does not differ in your company, choose the attribute 'No distinction'. This is the best case for the enduser, since he then never has to decide on a trip schema when entering a business trip and also never has to change schemas.
Caution! If you have given a trip schema the attribute 'No distinction' in a trip provision variant, be sure that there are no trip schemas with the attribute 'domestic trip' or 'international trip' in the same trip provision variant. This would not be logical, since the differentiation between domestic or international trips is either relevant in your company or irrevelant.
