Documentation
Definition
The total confirmed quantities for all plants that procure the current material from the current distribution center. This is maintained by head office after the plants send in their replies. The head office can correct the quantities requested by the plants if required.
Use
The system calculates this total automatically. Confirmed quantities can be entered under "Communication plant" in the "Edit reply" function.
You can only maintain the confirmed quantity for a plant after you have created a confirmation request, i.e. after the notification or the promotion announcement has been created.
If a plant does not receive a request (see the notification category or announcement category), you cannot change the confirmed quantity. The system uses the planned quantity as the confirmed quantity.
If you generate follow-on documents after entering replies, the quantity is copied to the follow-on documents (vendor orders, warehouse orders or deliveries) based on the confirmed quantities.
