Definition

Enter a reporting currency here, if you want to report in different currency from the controlling area currency.

The budget, plan, actual and commitment values of the objects are then displayed in this reporting currency, if the reporting currency is the object currency of the object.

If it is not, then the system translates the existing controlling area currency values of the object into the reporting currency:

• In reporting for investment programs, the system uses the exchange rate type entered in Customizing for group reporting in the program type of the investment program.
  In reporting for appropriation requests, the system looks at the program type defined in Customizing for Appropriation Requests, and uses the exchange rate type entered there for group reporting.
• The system uses the first day of the approval year as the key date for the currency translation.
