Definition

When you set this indicator, the object currency is used as the transaction currency for changes to the plan or budget.

Caution: The prerequisite for this is that the plan profile/ budget profile of the object allows this setting. This means that the indicator for planning/budgeting in controlling area currency cannot already be set in the plan profile/ budget profile of the object. Instead, one of the indicators, either for planning/budgeting in the object currency or in a transaction currency (for which any currency can be chosen), has to be set.

If this condition is not met for one of the objects, then the system carries out changes to the plan or budget for that object using the controlling area currency as the transaction currency.

If you do not set this indicator, the system uses the controlling area currency as the transaction currency for changes to the plan or budget.
