Definition

Specifies the selection period for calculation of transaction amount.

  • When you are calculating transaction amount in a normal run, the system processes the asset transaction until the period entered in this field. For example, consider you want to calculate the transaction amount of period 02, enter 02 in this field. System cumulates the values of period 01 and 02 and displays the asset block transaction amount for period 02.
  • When you are re-calculating transaction amount in a re-run mode, the system processes the asset transaction from the period entered in this field till the period for which the blocks are already processed, to ensure that the transactions for all the period of the block are consistent. For example, consider that you have calculated the transaction amount for an asset block B1 until period 06. Now there are some changes to asset block B1 due to which you need to recalculate the asset block B1 value for the period 04. So enter 04 in this field and choose re-run. System recalculates the transaction amounts for asset block B1 not just for period 04 but until period 06, because the changes in period 04 will affect period 05 and 06 values.
