General
The hierarchy level of a segment can be calculated as follows:
- Segments which do not have a parent segment either have hierarchy level 1 (if they cannot be repeated) or hierarchy level 2 (if they can be repeated). It is irrelevant for the hierarchy level whether the current segment is the head segment of a group.
- Segments which have a parent segment have a hierarchy level which is one higher than that of their parent segment.
