Definition

Identifies, during export, the country from which goods are shipped and, during import, the country into which goods are delivered.

Use

As a rule, you use the international identification codes for motor vehicles (for example, USA = United States, I = Italy, and so on). The system uses the country key to determine:

• Taxes relevant during pricing
• Important country-specific norms, such as the length of postal codes and bank account numbers.
