Definition
Key which indicates the category of the vendor hierarchy.
Use
The vendor hierarchy category defines:
- which account groups are allowed in the hierarchy
- which organizational data is allowed in the hierarchy
Dependencies
When you maintain a hierarchy, enter the appropriate hierarchy category. Vendor hierarchy category A (standard hierarchy) is defined in the standard system. However, you can maintain other hierarchy categories in Customizing.
