Definition
Organizational unit for grouping more than one cost center together.
Use
You can create any cost center group required without using the standard hierarchy.
You can, in turn, group these cost center groups into more cost center groups, and thus create a cost center hierarchy.
Examples of uses of a cost center group include the creation of reports for more than one cost center, or for processing more than one cost center in one transaction.
Information system:
To run reports using selection variants, enter on the selection screen .<name of selection variant> instead of entering a cost center group when you call up the report.
