Documentation
Definition
Maximum amount for checking purchase orders for assets.
Use
If you set a maximum LVA (low value asset) amount, this amount cannot be exceeded for assets in the designated asset classes for LVAs. This applies when purchase orders are created for assets in the Materials Management (MM) component. The system prevents the creation of purchase orders if the acquisition value of the asset would exceed the maximum LVA amount. (Or, if LVAs are managed collectively, if the acquisition value divided by the quantity exceeds the maximum LVA amount.)
