Procedure

Enter a date up to which this setting in Customizing is valid.

Use

During legal control, the system determines the appropriate date on the basis of the export date.

Examples

If new terms and conditions become relevant for exports to a particular country of destination from 01.01.2000, you need to make two settings on the appropriate Customizing screen:

• One setting which is valid up to 12.31.99
• One setting which is valid up to, say, 12.31.2010

If an export is to be carried out on 02.05.2000, the system selects the second setting and continues working on the basis of the information contained in this setting.
