Documentation
Definition
Total stock is calculated from
valuated stock and consignment stock.
In the stock/requirements analysis, in which data from material requirements planning can be evaluated, the total stock is the available quantity and the safety stock.
Use
In the standard of Inventory Controlling, the quantity of the valuated stock and the quantity of the consignment stock is updated at the information structure S032.
The available quantity and the safety stock are updated from the MRP in information structure S094.
Dependencies
Note that the total stock can only be correctly shown on an aggregated level (for example, on the plant or material group level) if the amounts are cumulated with the same unit of measure. Otherwise '***' is used as the unit in the standard of Inventory Controlling.
