Documentation
Definition
This groups all prices together that are processed in different variants. These prices are elements of gross prices. Each gross group must contain only one variant to process a gross price. You must select the Gross lines field for these variants in the schema, and the corresponding price must be a gross price.
Use
Gross prices in the schema
- Enter the same value in the Gross group field for all variants which process the elements of the same gross price.
- You must enter only one variant per gross group to process a gross price. You must select the Gross lines field.
- You must flag the variants that process the net lines as posting-relevant. Gross lines cannot be posting-relevant.
- You cannot choose price summaries in the schema steps where a gross group is entered.
- You cannot give price/amount discounts to gross prices or net prices that belong to a gross group.
Gross prices and franchise fee:
If you want to use the franchise fee as a net element of the gross price, see the definitions.
Note - restrictions for gross prices:
- All prices that are grouped together in one gross group in the schema must have the same price category.
- If the gross price is a block price, you must create all the net elements as block prices. It is possible to create one of the net elements of the gross price as a block price, even if the gross price may not be a block price.
- You cannot enter a price adjustment clause in the gross price.
Example
You have defined the gross price in the gross price operand, and flagged it as the gross price. You have also defined the net price in the net price operand, and the franchise fee in the franchise fee price operand. The net price and franchise fee price must be net elements of the gross price. If you use the gross price to depict amount x gross price = gross amount you must define this in the schema as follows:
Variant Operand Gross group Gross lines Posting-relevant
QUANTI01 GrPrice ABC X SPACE
QUANTI01 NPrice ABC SPACE X
QUANTI01 FFeePrice ABC Space X
