Definition
Quantity for which seasonal purchasing budget is required.
On the line S_budget qty, this is the total quantity budgeted for the period. It comprises the quantity for which budget has already been released (Free budget qty) and the quantity for which budget has been reserved (Reserve budget qty).
The line Actual commitments qty represents the quantity for which seasonal budget has already been committed. This actual data is updated from the purchasing system. It comprises purchase order quantities and stock transfer quantities (for example, from one distribution center to another). If the quantity of the goods when they are received differs from the order quantity and the delivery is nevertheless marked as completed, this difference is also updated.
Procedure
In plans based on the planning types OTB_VP and OTB_%, the line S_budget qty is calculated automatically whenever you regenerate the planning table, for example, by pressing ENTER. The calculation is as follows:
