Definition
This indicator defines whether global ledgers are used in Special Purpose Ledger system configuration. In particular, the indicator defines whether global companies are offered for processing.
This indicator is also important for direct posting. If you do not set the indicator, no direct postings are made to global ledgers in Special Purpose Ledger.
This indicator has a further meaning in conjunction with the 'Local ledgers' indicator. If you have not set either of the indicators, you cannot post to Special Purpose Ledger at all.
