Definition

The classification of the transaction type groups serves as a program control parameter for differentiating:

• Acquisitions
• Retirements
• Acquiring transfers
• Retiring transfers
• Depreciation transactions
• Legacy data transfer transactions
• Statistical transactions

You need to maintain this field for all transaction type groups, and this field cannot be changed. Using this class, the system also checks the contents of other features of the transaction type and transaction type groups to see if they are allowed. This means, for example, that you cannot enter features applicable only to acquisitions in a retirement transaction type or a retirement transaction type group.
