Dependencies
The planned count date determines the fiscal year in which the physical inventory document is posted. All other postings involving this document must be effected during this fiscal year.

The system checks for which materials physical inventory is to be carried out during the specified interval.
Procedure
Examples
A given material is to be cycle counted every 10 workdays. The last physical inventory was carried out on Wednesday two weeks ago. Consequently, the next physical inventory for this material is due this coming Wednesday.
If you plan a cycle count for next week (count date interval = Monday through Friday), counting of the relevant material will be scheduled for Wednesday.
