Documentation
Definition
This indicator specifies whether the special rule for determining the country of departure for these legal regulations is active.
This includes the function for determining the country of departure in order to specify which legal regulations are active, that is, which need to be checked before export.
Use
Certain legal regulations have special rules for determining the country of departure, which in turn is used to decide which legal regulations should be checked.
At present, the system supports the EU's special determination rule.
Example
If you deliver from a plant in France (EU) to a customer (sold-to party) in Germany (EU) but the ship-to party is located in South Africa (third country), you need to check, during legal control, the legal regulations valid for exports from the sold-to-party country (Germany) and not the regulations valid for exports from the country of departure (France).
